Paperman!

Paperman.

Without dialogue, in black and white and only few minutes long.... one of my favorite goosebumpy  short films..

Here's a link to check the short flim out. However, if you're more into reading text, here's a perfect summery for the whole thing. ENJOY.

The paper man Breif Summery

If you haven't seen the short and don't know the slightest thing about it, here's the summary: a goofy jackass blows an opportunity to chat up a hottie at the train station and then spends the rest of his morning risking his job and life to rectify his error. When he spies the woman again in a skyscraper opposite the one in which he works, he tries to get her attention by throwing paper airplanes across the gap between the buildings -- presumably hoping that she'll be thrilled to have her job interview interrupted by an aerodynamic paper shiv gliding in through the open window and stabbing her in her pretty face. When that plan fails, and literally results in the guy tossing stacks of paperwork and hundreds of paper airplanes out the window, the man runs out of his office and across busy streets in an attempt to chase her down on the sidewalks of New York. He loses her, but -- magically -- the wind picks up those paper airplanes and slams them into the dude!!! And they push him around town like a minifigure in an oversized Spawn Alley playset until they all but shove him into the lap of the pretty chick.

PS: Paperman is a 2012 black-and-white 3D hand-drawn/computer animated romantic comedy film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and directed by John Kahrs. The short blends traditional animation and computer animation. Wikipedia

Will Smith interview "Pursuit of happyness.

Kam williams interviewing Will Smith...

Kam Williams: What interested you in this movie?

Will Smith: I saw the 20-20 piece [on ABC-TV ] on Chris' life, and the power of the story blew me away. There was a look in his eyes, a confidence and a strength after having traveled that journey. He personified the American Dream. It felt to me that the reason that America has been successful in this world is based on the idea that Chris Gardner is possible.

Kam Williams: How was it working opposite your son, Jaden, as your co-star?

Will Smith: Part of being an actor is almost self-hypnosis during those brief moments when the cameras are rolling. You want to actually believe you're Chris Gardner or Muhammad Ali. And having my son, and being able to lay in a subway bathroom, with my real son, just added to the ability to be able to transform and to become Chris Gardner for those moments

.
Kam Williams: How would describe the prevailing theme of The Pursuit of Happyness?

Will Smith: It is a mythological story of what a man is supposed to be able to endure and to
accomplish. That connection of the transferal of manhood from a man to a boy is the center of life. The film represents the greatest dream and the greatest hope that a man has for his ability to be and his ability to accomplish.

Kam Williams: And it's about fathering too, right?

Will Smith: The desire to be a good father is really innate. There aren’t a lot of movies that depict that relationship because men, we have to pretend that we're not that emotional about it.

Kam Williams: Did you collaborate with Chris Gardner on how you were going to portray him?

Will Smith: It's been very helpful to me to work with the actual people that the story is about. Like, having Ali on the set of Ali was just perfection, because you could play a scene, and if it didn't feel right, you could ask, ’How was that champ?’ And it was the same thing with Chris Gardner. Chris was there every single day. And the point was to capture the essence of his experience. We had to crunch essentially ten years of his life into two hours. And who better than Chris Gardner to assist with capturing the essence of what the experience was and the truth of his journey?

How to get a goosebumpy feeling....

Here are some quotes I found VERY goosebumpy.
Read them and tell me, would they change the way you think?

The best years of your life are the ones in which you decide your problems are your own. You do not blame them on your mother, the ecology, or the president. You realize that you control your own destiny.

Albert Ellis

There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.

Albert Einstein

What the mind can conceive, it can achieve.

Napoleon Hill

First they ignore you. Then they laugh at you. Then they fight you. Then you win.

Mahatma Gandhi

Alright I'll try and feed you well.

Take a moment to breathe and think about what you wanna do... is there a goal you wanna reach? is it a decision you wanna make? a problem you wanna solve? Are you evaluating something specific?
Alright in order for you to find that thing you're eager to find you follow these STEPS.
- Take Time Out: Hmmm.... there are various ways to be inspired... lets start by saying looking at things in our daily life... the best way to do that is exposing your EYES.. see life, the nature, everything!

You had no idea

We all do things differently, and there are certain objects that manifest who we are....

Hi. this is me. Can you figure out how I'm feeling at the moment? I'm so exhausted.. you can see it in my EYES. it's remarkable how our EYES can tell whether we are excited, energetic or tired... most importantly how we feel in general!

Walking with history... this is the only shoe that deserves to be captured... It's black and elegant... suits every single piece of clothing I've got in my wardrobe... It was there when I first skated... look at it! You're always going to be there... in my top 25. :D

For an idea... I considered human trafficking.. since I'm currently living here in Atlanta.. It's a major issue.. and the most all over the US... help and contribute... it's never going to stop but at least we can work together to reduce it! GO SPARTAS! :D

I will always love you no matter what... let me tell you why blogger.. have you ever been soaked down like it's friendly quick sand? I don't think so if you haven't tried my bed... It's so cozy... I'm late for class at least 2 or 3 times a week because of it... I keep it organized.. I don't care if I had to move the pillows every time I lay down as long as it looks good!!! :D

The fact that I've got my books replaced with my video games is because I donated and gave some to my friends in lower levels. My future books are on their way to my brain!

Enjoying the view where I live? I've chosen this tree between her friends.. YES its a she.. anyway, I've seen her grow and let go of her leaves several times... BTW. Can you see the window top-mid last building in the right? I'm over there writing this.

So, are you wondering what I usually do during my weekend? my laptop plays the role of entertaining us... the music list goes on and on like it's a non-stop marathon! Wondering what I'm listening to? TYPE REBELUTION IN YOUTUBE.

Want to know the secret of my hot beverage? NOW. GO TO WALMART. SEARCH FOR MILO AND NIDO... get some marshmallows just cause I said so. Now, get a cup, add to spoons of Milo and Nido.. apply hot water, with sugar added. now put one piece of marshmallow.. and ENJOY YOUR HOT BEVERAGE. TRUST ME.

You had no idea didn't you?

THE END.

I know I'm not perfect, but at least I had the courage to write you this.....

You are the gas for my car to move,
The medium well bison in my burger,
You are the Mountain Dew and the Snapple.
And the B.F sword for Tryndamere.
You are the Whey Protein after my workout
And the skyline of Dubai.

However, You are not the gas of my fart,
The rotten chicken in the fridge,
Or the tree with the broken branches.
And you are certainly not the lockers that had been opened with the master key.
There is just no way you are the lockers that had been opened with the master key.

It is possible that you are my favorite jacket in the cold.
Maybe even the smiles of the sad refugees.
But you are not even close
To being the dark side of the evil step mother.

And a quick look in the mirror will show
That you are neither the sand in the desert nor
the soccer ball left after a harsh game.

It might interest you to know,
Speaking of the plentiful imagery of the world,
that I am heavy fridge on the kitchen floor.
